Join The Polar Adventure Company's Co-Founder, Jason Hillier, as we embark on a 10 day Spitsbergen circumnavigation cruise. As conditions allow will visit two of seven National Parks, the Eastern Svalbard Nature Reserve, and make numerous other stops along the way looking for polar bears, walrus, and more.
Spend the day exloring Oslo on Sept. 15th and, after our included charter flight, we sail with Hurtigruten Expeditions on Sept. 16th, from Longyearbyen onboard MS Spitsbergen. Named after the crown jewel of Arctic Norway – the Svalbard archipelago and its biggest island.
,We will feast our eyes on the alluring icy blue waters of the polar region as we sail past glaciers calving icebergs to the edge of far-reaching slabs of pack ice that can only be seen in this part of the world. Together we can experience the unique arctic environment, endless days and the rarely seen wildlife that populates it. Spot polar bears, walrus, reindeer, and arctic foxes in their natural habitat, while thousands of seabirds, beluga whales track our voyage through this unforgettable icy wilderness.

Day 1: Oslo, Norway. Meet and Greet with Jason.
Day 2: Fly to Longyearbyen
Day 3-5: Northwest Spitsbergen National Park
Day 6-7: Eastern Svalbard Nature Reserve
Day 8: South Spitsbergen National Park
Day 9: The Isfjord
Day 10: Longyearbyen/Oslo

ABOUT JASON HILLIER
Jason is a Co-Founder of The Polar Advenrture Company and has over a decade in the polar expedition travel industry as an Expedition Leader, Divemaster, and Guide. He has been on countless land-based, ship, and superyacht expeditions to Antarctica, South Georgia, Greenland, Hudson Bay, Baffin Island, Labrador, Iceland, and Ellesmere Island. Jason has led trips for marine scientists, and has guided film crews (BBC, National Geographic, PBS NOVA, etc.) throughout the Arctic and he is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society.
